In August 1998, following their independent audit of the adequacy of the Robinson quality system, the National Standards Authority of Ireland (N.S.A.I.) granted Robinson Brick Company "Registered Firm" status under ISO 9001. Robinson Brick Company became the first manufacturer of facing brick in North America to be registered under the ISO 9001.

The ISO 9001 standard defines the internationally accepted benchmark model for quality systems. The standard places primary emphasis on customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement.

How do you know if you are getting the best quality brick? Check the standard to which the brick is manufactured. Robinson Brick Company's standards meet ASTM C216-97, which is the standard specification for facing brick. But we go further than that. All of our brick is produced to Grade SW (Severe Weathering), which guarantees a stronger, more durable brick that lasts longer and requires less maintenance than it's lower grade counterpart, Grade MW (Moderate Weathering). Robinson Brick Company also produces only Type FBX brick, which maintains strict requirements on waste, chips, cracks and warpage.
